SGIA Forms New Alliance to Expand Outreach in Post-Print Finishing
In today’s marketplace, post-print finishing processes help specialty imagers enhance the quality of their products and gain access to exciting and profitable new markets.

That’s why SGIA recently announced a new alliance that brings additional benefits and educational resources for members.

SGIA has created the Post Print Manufacturers Alliance (PPMA), which integrates the resources and expertise of a trade group formerly known as the Post Print Manufacturers Association into the SGIA Information Network.

The alliance brings together manufacturers offering a wide range of post-print applications — everything from laminating films and cutting systems to mounting substrates and equipment that processes them — all within the SGIA community.

PPMA is advantageous for SGIA members because it will provide additional benefits, support and educational opportunities in the post-print finishing world.

“SGIA is excited about the newly formed PPMA and our plans to offer members services that promote the profitability of print finishing capabilities,” says SGIA President/CEO Michael Robertson. “The alliance reiterates the Association’s view that finishing is a critical step in the production process.”
