Jameel Ahed is a bio-medical engineer, with a specialty in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. In 2007, he created Blue Sparq, Inc., a custom product design and development firm specializing in "looks like, feels like" rapid prototypes to complete turnkey products. His innovative approach to problem solving has prompted 14 patent filings in less than 4 years. Previously, Ahed was president and owner of Robotic FX, Inc. Mr. Ahed’s primary responsibility was to ensure that Robotic FX, Inc.’s vision and direction, to build a low-cost mobile robot for use by the homeland defense and military, were fully realized. He was also responsible for the day-to-day tasks of general management, project management, marketing, and design engineering, including electrical, mechanical, software and complete system integration. Before creating Robotic FX, Inc., Mr. Ahed was a robotics design engineer for IRobot Corporation, where he was responsible for electro-mechanical design, system integration and management. Mr. Ahed is a graduate of the University of Illinois – Champaign, Urbana, having received a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Engineering / Pre-Med, with specialties in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing and Software design.

Leonard Allison's career in electronics packaging started with connectors and Polymer Thick Film circuitry. His 30 years of PTF experience includes 10 years in Asia, work with start-up printed battery technology, and now with Engineered Conductive Materials, LLC. Len is always looking for ways to grow the PTF circuitry market, through the replacement of copper circuitry. The copper circuit market is vastly larger than PTF circuits, and consumers are becoming increasingly confident in PTF circuitry performance and price. Len feels that the advancements in PTF circuitry are not necessarily in nanoparticles or inkjet dispensing, but in the convergence of better materials, better processing, SMT and enhanced functionality.

Richa Anand joined Phoseon Technology, Inc. in 2011, as product marketing manager. Prior to joining Phoseon, Anand was product marketing manager at Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. Dr. Rich Baker earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of East Anglia, UK and his Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in the US. His entire career has been spent in the industrial inkjet arena. Rich worked as Chemical Products Manager at Markem, where he was responsible for developing several inks, including industrial Hot Melt inkjet inks. Rich then worked for FUJIFILM Dimatix (Spectra), for 14 years, where he was responsible for fostering relationships between world leading ink companies, OEM systems integrators and end-user customers. Paul Green was born in 1970 and comes from a well rounded art and graphics background. Starting in 1986-1991 he worked as an assistant photographer and article writer for three worldwide magazine publications. This time was spent working with Emmy award winning music video director and movie director Spike Jonze. For the next ten years he was responsible for general management and art direction for S&M Bikes in the Bicycle Motocross (BMX) industry. Rob Ivers is the owner of Rob Ivers, Inc. in Raymore, MO, near Kansas City. Since he became involved with vinyl graphics in 1978, he's been a leader in innovation and technique. Kent Yunker is part of his family’s 63 year old graphics business headquartered in Lake Geneva, WI, approximately 1 hour north of Chicago. They specialize in the design, engineering, production and fabrication as well as installation of interior graphics for local, regional and national retailers. Their customer base includes Drug, Hardware, Food, Sporting Goods and Specialty chains. Recent and current customers include Office Depot, Office Max, Petco, Sears, Kmart, West Marine, Fry’s Electronics, Jack In the Box, and Ross Dress for Less Stores.

Kent has served as president of Yunker industries from 1988 through 2002 and in 2004 relocated to the west coast office to develop new business. His current title is “Difference Maker.”

Having been a part of the company for over 36 years, he is active in all phases of the business from creative, engineering and production to strategic planning and program implementation. He has been a member of numerous industry associations, is currently on the Past Chairman’s Advisory Council of SGIA, and served as its Chairman from 2009-2010. Kent lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains above Soquel.

Dana Zezzo, Pro Towels, Etc.

Dana Zezzo has spent the past three years growing Pro Towels Etc. into the industry’s largest supplier of beach and golf towels. He has been in the promotional products industry for more than 18 years. He is involved in both the industry and in his local community of Ashtabula, OH. Zezzo is a past president of TRASA - the Three Rivers Advertising Specialty Association, and currently serves on both the PPAI National Leadership Conference Advisory Committee and ASI’s Stitches Editorial Advisory Board. He was also recently named on Stitches 2010 Top 20 list. Zezzo conducts seminars all over the country, speaking on industry-related topics including social media for promotional products professionals.

Reinhard Zimmermann has more than 30 years experience in the printing industry, having started his career as an engineer in R&D and customer support, at the Germany company, Klemm in 1980. In 1993, he founded TSI, also in Germany, to build customized production machines for Web screen printing/coating applications and finish machines. TSI formed a strategic partnership with Spartanics.com in 2007, and created the name SYSTEC, to produce screen printing equipment and finishing technologies in Germany.
