Sam Ingram
Inducted into the Academy in 2003
Currently, Sam works as a Professor and Department Chair in the
Department of Graphic Communications, College of Business and Behavioral
Science, for Clemson University. Sam joined Clemson University in
1981 as a Graduate Assistant in the International Services Office.
In 1985, He became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial
Education, with responsibilities for graphic communications.
Prior to joining Clemson, Sam worked as a Graphic Arts Teacher,
a Woodworking Instructor and in the Industrial Arts in the public
school system in Chapel Hill, SC.
Sam received his B.S. from Appalachian State University in 1978,
his Master of Industrial Education from Clemson University in 1982,
and his Doctorate in Education from Clemson in 1985.
