Geoff McCueGeoff McCue
Inducted into the Academy in 2000

Geoff McCue is currently Digital Product Manager for KIWO, Inc., Seabrook, Texas. A well-respected and well-known industry member who, throughout his career, has contributed to the industry's advancement. His achievements include several product inventions - including a patented registration system, a die-cut stencil systems, and several test films - although his most notable invention is the first digital screen making system that was marketed by Gerber Scientific Products as their Gerber Screenjet. With this invention, Mr. McCue became the "father" of computer to screen systems. Further patented inventions currently under development also relate to digital screen making and are expected to further advance the industry as well.

A former columnist for Screenprinting magazine, he has actively promoted screen printing through frequent contributions to other industry publications ranging from UV printing, textile printing, stencil making techniques and production efficiency. He has also served on the SGIA education committee and is a frequent speaker at SGIA conventions and various trade magazine and product distributor functions. Mr. McCue has over 27 years in the screen printing industry with a background in typography, printing, sales, marketing, production management, and sales management. His experiences as a graphic printer, textile printer, supplier and manufacturer gives him a unique perspective and vast technical experience. He is also a member of the SPTF Academy of Screen Printing Technology.
