GREAT CAREER OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED SALES PERSON IN SIGN INDUSTRY
An Industry Leader in Textile Technology is seeking an experienced sales person for U.S. Domestic, Canada and Mexico territories. It is a Full-Time Sales position in Carson, California with the primary focus of the screen and digital printing media for manufacturers/distributors.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To call on established and prospective customers to build and maintain long term business relations. * Light travel to trade shows and customers. * Make presentations of company products and services. * Quotes prices and credit terms. Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained. * Expedite delivery to customers based on knowledge of production, inventory and delivery schedules. * Must be able to work through complex sales and technical printing solutions with customers. * Review trade literature for new developments and products in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 2 years in Sales required. Background in screen and digital printings, sublimation printing industry is encouraged. A strong knowledge of various industrial fabrics as priting media to include vinyl, woven and knit fabrics as well as foam board and polystyrene is a big plus.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT This candidate must hold a Bachelors degree or two years Associate Degree or a minimum of five years in related sales experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS This person must have the ability to write business correspondence, sales quotes, effectively present information, and respond to questions from customers and company management. We are accepting applications for both Spanish and English speaking candidates. Bi-lingual candidates are plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply concepts such as simple mathematics to include but not limited to addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages.
COMPUTER AND COMMUNCATION SKILLS Excellent verbal & written communication skills are required. Must have experience with Word, Excel and Outlook.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
