Hospitality Suites, Dinners, Tours, and other Private Events are not to conflict with general Convention activities. This is in accord with show rules which are part of the contract you have signed. What this means is you can host an event anytime Monday; after 5:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday; not at all on Thursday; and after 3:00 pm on Friday during convention week. You may host an event any morning, as long as it concludes by 9:00 am.
Please refer to Exhibitor Policies enforced by the Las Vegas Convention Center by using the links shown above.
For exhibitors of UV and conventional dryers, SGIA is requesting compliance with the following requirement: Because of UV generated ozone or solvent vapors from screen printing and drying operations, and complaints from attendees who are breathing these chemicals, all drying equipment must have ducting which extends at least 6 feet above floor level. This will have the effect of dispersing the vapors above the level of attendees’ heads; thereby decreasing the concentrations that they breathe. Additionally, we request that you minimize the total amount of solvent-based inks that are printed in any one day.
Rules & Regulations that are part of the contract you signed are contained in this Exhibitor Services Manual. Please take note of the Labor Jurisdiction (pdf 76K) and Labor Plan Descriptions (pdf 79K) included in this Exhibitor Services Manual.
