SGIA ’06 gets the Expo networking started with the annual John M. Crawford Golf Tournament (Monday, September 25). This scramble-style tournament gives you a full day of networking with your peers, customers and suppliers on the links, where prizes await you at every hole.

The tournament will test your skills at the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club, a lush course tucked off the Strip in the heart of Las Vegas Valley. This golf spot is designed to give golfers of all abilities an enjoyable competition.

Rewards for top-notch (or lucky) golfers include:

Entry Fee
Prior to August 31: $125 for Members and $150 for Non-members
After August 31: $150 for Members and $175 for Non-members

Entry fee includes use of driving range and putting green, range balls, green fee, one-half cart, prize fund contribution, lunch, transfers and refreshment carts during the tournament.

*Please Note: The John M. Crawford Tournament cost is in addition to your SGIA ’06 registration cost.

Deadline for Entries: August 31, 2006 or when 144 registrations are received, whichever comes first.

Three Ways to Register
Give exact names on your registration form of other registered participants whom you would like to play with at the tournament. SGIA will be happy to create a foursome group for you. We will confirm your golf registration and send you complete tournament and transfer information.

Cancellation
In the case of inclement weather, SGIA reserves the right to cancel the tournament and will refund the entry fee, unless play has started.

Cancellation Policy
A 10 percent charge will be made for all cancellations received on or before July 26; a 25 percent charge for cancellations from July 27 through August 23; and a 50 percent charge from August 24 through September 7. No refunds will be given thereafter or for no-shows. Registration is transferable to another person from your company if a written request is received by September 7 along with payment for a $10 processing fee. All cancellation requests must be written and received by the dates listed above. You may fax cancellations to 703.273.0469.

Itinerary
7:00 am (approximate) — Bus departure from Las Vegas Hilton
7:15 am (approximate) — Bus departure from Bally's Las Vegas
8:00 am— Sign in at Rhodes Ranch Golf Club
8:30 am— Shotgun tee off
1:30 pm— Caddy Shack Awards Presentation
2:45 pm (approximate) — Return to hotels

Transfers
There are two-way transfers from the Las Vegas Hilton and from Bally’s Las Vegas. *Please Note: You must be at pick-up hotels at the appointed times, or at the course by 8:00 am to compete in the tournament. Pick-up times will be approximately 7:00 am. Return transfers to these hotels will be at approximately 2:45 pm.

Format
The tournament offers men, women, printers and suppliers an equal opportunity to win prizes and enjoy the fun! Select your own foursome or allow SGIA to match you up in this Combined Scramble and Best Ball format tournament. Be sure to indicate your handicap or average score on the registration form (PDF 79k).

Players
The tournament is open to SGIA ’06 attendees (male and female), printers, suppliers and guests.

Club Rentals
A limited number of rental clubs are available from Rhodes and must be reserved in advance. Cost is $50 per set plus tax.

Dress Code
Collared shirt, shorts must be mid-length and cannot be denim or cut-offs. No halter tops, bathing suits, jogging outfits or sweat pants. The club is a soft-spike facility.

Refreshments
Refreshment carts will be operated around the course. A box lunch, packed in a souvenir lunch cooler (provided by SGIA), will be placed on your cart. A Caddy Shack Awards Presentation (sponsored by SGIA) will be held at the end of the tournament.
