Imagers, installers, manufacturers and distributors swung into steamy New Orleans last week to showcase the most innovative technology, applications and specialty imaging solutions for the graphic, garment, digital, screen, installation, printed electronics and finishing communities.
“It’s an amazing show. SGIA has opened a whole new world for me,” said Mario Rabadi of Image Amazing Inc. (Hopewell Junction, New York). “This show has really changed my point of view.”
“You can tell that people are looking for new technology and this is obviously the place to do it,” said Amy Egerter of Chemque (Rexdale, Ontario).
The Expo was held this year at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, and for three exciting days, was home to more than 14,000 attendees, 50+ educational sessions, and a huge Expo floor full of the most innovative equipment in the wide-format imaging industry.
Big Community
While temperatures jumped to a sultry 90 degrees outside, the SGIA community cooled off on the Expo floor for three days of amazing technology, applications and networking opportunities. Throughout the tradeshow floor, industry experts demonstrated the newest technology advancements in high-production digital and screen print devices as well as direct-to-garment, special effects and post-print finishing tools and equipment.
Big Opportunity
The industry’s leading suppliers and manufacturers showcased the widest range of screen, digital and industrial imaging technologies available today. The Expert Advice Zones — Digital Apparel Production Zone, the Digital Textile Finishing Zone, and the PDAA Graphic Applications Zone — focused on the never-ending application possibilities using the equipment on the Expo floor.
And, SGIA’s exclusive Expo educational sessions addressed the ins and outs of the imaging business so attendees can learn about using the newest techniques to better managing production and workflow.
