Business management columnist and best-selling author Gene Marks closed the gaps between the economy, politics and small business issues during the Keynote Breakfast on Thursday, October 20. Attendees came away with tactful insight about how to take advantage of the current and future political and economical climate.
Thursday Night Awards Party
Later that evening, the imaging community gathered on Bourbon St. for the Thursday Night Awards Party, where Outgoing Chairman Michael Mockridge and Incoming Chairman Gordon Brown emceed the night with off-script commentary that entertained the entire crowd.
Among the dinner party highlights was SGIA's announcement of its new initiative in partnership with Fresh Artists, a program that benefits art curriculums in inner-city schools.
