SGIA ’08: Three and a Half Days of Creative Inspiration

In a competitive marketplace, what you did yesterday is old news. Your customers want fresh, creative solutions; and they want them at very competitive prices. To compete and win, you need to know all your options, maximize your resources and avoid mistakes. You need to be confident and accurate in all aspects of your operation.

SGIA understands the challenge of today’s fast-paced business environment. That’s why we’re crafting SGIA ’08 (Atlanta; October 15-18, 2008) to be the one-stop educational resource and marketplace for the progressive printer or imager. The Innovation Nation will come together for three and a half days of creative inspiration.

Creativity is at the top of the list in today’s business environment. Customers want creative solutions to address a host of challenges. Total-solution printers and imagers will dominate. Those printers chasing the status quo will struggle.

You’ll find ways to become a total-solution provider at SGIA ’08 by seeing the latest equipment and spending quality time with the people who drive the changes in the marketplace. SGIA ’08 will be a value-packed learning environment. You’ll go home with added ideas and confidence to improve your market position and move your business forward.

Special events and attractions at SGIA’08:

  • The Keynote Luncheon features two of today’s management leaders. Connect with Bo Burlingham, author of “Small Giants: Companies That Choose To Be Great Instead of Big,” and Doug Tatum, author of “No Man's Land: What to Do When Your Company Is Too Big to Be Small but Too Small to Be Big.” Bo and Doug will team up for an SGIA ’08 Keynote presentation geared to your business issues.
  • The Professional Decal Application Association (PDAA) will conduct Wrap Quest at SGIA ’08. You’ll see the best graphic installers in the business as they put on vehicle wrapping demonstrations and compete in a vehicle wrapping championship.
  • The SGIA Digital Apparel Production Zone will feature the latest direct-to-garment workflow options and techniques. A must see for attendees either using or planning to use digital imaging technology.
  • The SGIA ‘08 Educational Program is comprised of 52 sessions. You’ll find an education track suited to your interests and experience level. This focused educational program will help you maximize production, hone your management skills and stay informed.

Wrap all this around the SGIA Expo floor – the most dynamic marketplace in the community – and you’ve got SGIA ’08. On the Expo floor, you’ll see the full range of imaging solutions from high-production printing and imaging to one-off, short-run imaging. And you’ll mix and mingle with exhibitors and attendees that understand your issues.

SGIA ’08 Registration opens May 5 at SGIA.org, Keyword: SGIA08. When you register before August 6, you’ll receive a free Expo pass ($30 value).
