Sylvia Hall Says Goodbye
This Friday, Vice President of Convention & Conferences Sylvia Hall will retire after serving the Association for 38 years. She has seen SGIA’s annual Expo grow from a small operation to one of the nation’s top 200 trade shows, and has helped plan and execute other SGIA events such as the Membrane Switch Symposiums, SPIRE meetings and SeriMundo in Mexico City, Mexico.

“Sylvia has helped elevate the SGIA Expo to be the premiere marketplace for the specialty imaging community,” said SGIA President/CEO Mike Robertson.

SGIA congratulates and thanks her for all of the hard word and dedication she has shown the Association over the years.

Generate New Leads: Update Your VTS Booth

Get ready to take advantage of the SGIA ’08 marketing campaign — update your Virtual Trade Show (VTS) booth. It’s the most heavily-trafficked area of SGIA.org and it will see even more visitors as SGIA Expo marketing increases.

By updating your VTS booth, you can start taking advantage of pre-Expo interest immediately. Update your new products, show specials and all the other areas of your VTS booth regularly. Prospective customers will be able to search for you all year long, but especially during pre-Expo planning.

You should have recently received our e-mail containing your company ID and password — use them to log in and get the most out of your VTS booth. If you can’t locate your login information, or you’re having trouble logging in, contact Jean Lambert at 703.359.1328.

It is Your Bag, Baby
SGIA’s 15,000 attendees will take their official SGIA’08 tote bags everywhere — from end to end of the Expo hall, education sessions and then back to their hotels (not to mention where they take them after SGIA’08 ends). If you want your brand to be unavoidable at SGIA’08 and visible all year long, put your logo on the bag. Reserve your tote-bag sponsorship today. Investment: $8,000

Mapping It Out
Make it easy for attendees to find your booth. When you place an ad on the SGIA’08 trade show map, your booth is highlighted on the map, an arrow points from your ad to your booth location, and your company is highlighted in the map’s alphabetical listing of exhibitors. Investment: $3,000 inside; $8,000 back cover.
