New Year, New Three-Day Show
You asked, we answered. Based on overwhelming response from SGIA Expo exhibitors, we’ve shortened the Expo to three days for 2009. Throughout the industry it’s apparent that doing more in less time is important, so expect a busier-than-ever Expo experience in New Orleans this October!

Jean Lambert

A personal note: I have just returned from the annual Professional Convention Management Association’s conference in New Orleans and discovered that as an attendee, I was able to view the city through a new set of eyes. I must say that I was impressed by every aspect of the experience! Upon arrival at the airport, I was welcomed by the infamous sounds of the city – the music and flare provided an immediate fun and exciting atmosphere. “Southern Hospitality” is a central theme that resonates throughout every establishment, hotel and meeting place. Every effort was put forth to ensure a comfortable experience. The city has implemented a debris management plan to create a cleaner city and in doing so has greatly improved the city’s “face value”. It is clear that this project has taken a top priority! The streets were very clean and many of us enjoyed walking through the French Quarter absorbing ambiance from the past as well as the present. A recovering city that has made tremendous progress offers the promise of a bright and successful future. I can assure you that whether you are a show organizer, an exhibiting company or an attendee involved with any of the conferences and meetings that will take place in New Orleans that this city’s traditions, charm, celebrations and culture will embrace you in many different ways.
