Fairfax, Virginia  — SGIA is giving the first of its SGIA Digital Expo registrants a voucher for a free copy of the "2006 Guide to Digital Imaging" (while supplies last). Once at the show, attendees can pick up their copies at the SGIA booth (Booth 400).

Registration for the SGIA Digital Expo (Phoenix, December 8–10, 2005) went live online at SGIA.org this morning.

SGIA's "2006 Guide to Digital Imaging" is designed to give the advanced or novice digital imaging professional solid grounding in the technology and market considerations necessary for digital imaging success.

DPI Director of Communications and Member Service Development Dan Marx notes the book is a perfect complement to the Phoenix event.

"With the new edition, we've added a chapter outlining critical considerations for new equipment purchases and information on digital garment printing. Plus, we've updated the wide-format output device list glossary and data about industry size and exciting, profitable markets," says Marx.

SGIA Digital Expo exhibitors include suppliers of flatbed, roll-to-roll and hybrid wide-format output devices, direct-to-garment digital printers, finishing equipment, ink systems, media, software and print heads. The event is targeted at imagers involved in producing POP, displays, signage, outdoor advertising, labels/decals, banners, posters, textiles, garments, interior design items, nameplates/dials/panels or fine art/reproductions.

"We're suggesting attendees carry the book with them and refer to it as they walk the show floor," Marx added.

Visit SGIA.org for an early bird pass for free entry to the exposition hall.
