SGIA Recognizes Member Contributions

SGIA has shipped its 2005 awards to the recipients. Under normal circumstances, SGIA’s annual recognition awards would have been presented during SGIA ’05.

"SGIA is more than an Association. It’s a community in which members strengthen each other and the industry through their participation,” said SGIA President Michael Robertson. “It’s important that we not delay recognizing the efforts our members put forth.”

The Association thanks the following members for their assistance throughout 2005:

Retiring Board of Directors members David Eisenbeiss, KIWO Inc., and William Kujawa, Miller-Zell Inc, received the Award of Commendation for their service.

In honor of 50 years of continuous membership, the Desmond Process Supply Company received the Excalibur Award. The Magnus Award went to Aditya Publications for its promotion of SGIA. Bill Anderson and O. Zeman each received the Pioneer Certificate of Lifetime Achievement.

SGIA’s friends in the trade media contribute greatly to the success of the Association and its convention. In appreciation for their support of SGIA ’05 and other Association activities, SGIA gave its Publishing Partner Awards to the following publications: Big Picture, Digital Output, EMB, Impressions, Plastics Decorating, Print on Demand, Screen Printing, Sign Builder Illustrated, signindustry.com, Signs of the Times and Wide-Format Imaging.
