Fairfax, Virginia -- It's a copycat economy we live and work in, says Oren Harari, PhD, and thriving businesses need to stand out from the crowd. Harari will deliver the Keynote Address at SGIA '07 (Orlando, Florida; October 24-27).

"Commoditization and standardization can shrink profit margins beyond recognition and severely limit growth, " notes SGIA President/CEO Michael Robertson. "Specialty imaging success comes from the value you, and only you, can provide to your customers."

Harari's comments will focus on managing change as well as building and keeping a competitive advantage, with practical advice for putting these concepts into action after the Expo.

"Markets are becoming more crowded with me too players and products. ... To sustain healthy growth and competitive advantages in today's Copycat Economy, your organization must break from the pack," Harari says.

SGIA and Harari will bring SGIA '07 attendees the tools to do just that. Harari has been dubbed one of the 40 Best Minds in business management in the world by the Financial Times (London). In addition to his consulting business, he teaches strategic and global management for the Graduate School of Business at the University of San Francisco.

The Keynote Luncheon & Address (session K01) takes place Wednesday, October 24, from noon-1:45 pm at the Orange County Convention Center. Separate ticket required: $35 ($40 non-members) before September 21; $40 ($45 non-members) after September 21.
