Kent Yunker Named 2008 SGIA Board Chairman

Orlando, Florida — Kent Yunker, Yunker Industries Inc. (Lake Geneva, Wisconsin), was named Chairman for SGIA’s 2008 Board of Directors.

Yunker joined the board along with incoming First Vice Chairman Carl Baldwin, Falcon Graphics Inc. (Arlington, Texas); Second Vice Chairman Wm Joseph Shondel, Selecto-Flash Inc. (West Orange, New Jersey); and Third Vice Chairman James Gill, FUJIFILM Dimatix Inc. (Gilford, New Hampshire).

Michael Mockridge, Mockridge Doming Systems (Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancashire, England), was named Associate Vice Chairman, Gordon Brown, New Vista Image (Golden, Colorado), was named Secretary, and Kerry Gillespie, Gillesphie Graphics (Wilsonville, Oregon), was named Treasurer.

Brian Hart, Ivey Imaging (Seattle, Washington), was the newly elected printer member to fill a three-year term on the board. Don Feagan, SAi (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), was elected as a new supplier member to also serve a three-year term.

Continuing their terms as directors are printer members Michael Emrich, Meto-Graphics (Cary, Illinois); Pete Gallo, Vista Color Imaging Inc. (Cleveland, Ohio); Eric Henry, T.S. Designs Inc. (Burlington, North Carolina); Lynn Krinsky, Stella Color (Seattle, Washington); C.Y. Lee, CY International Co. Ltd. (Seungnam-si, Gyunggi-do, South Korea); Tim Markley, Markley Enterprise (Elkhart, Indiana); Hoddy Peck, Meisel (Dallas, Texas); and Rich Thompson, Ad Graphics Inc. (Pompano Beach, Florida).

Supplier members continuing their terms on the board include Jane Cedrone, EFI VUTEk (Meredith, New Hampshire); Scott Fisher, Fisher Textiles (Indian Trail, North Carolina); Scott Fresener, US Screen Print & Inkjet Technology (Tempe, Arizona); and Jeff Notto, 3M Graphics Market Center (Saint Paul, Minnesota).

Also serving on SGIA’s 2008 Board of Directors will be the Immediate Past Chairman Scott McLean, DI Graphics (Wheat Ridge, Colorado), Chairman Advisory Council representative David Van Veldhuizen, The Mitographers Inc. (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), and SGIA President/CEO Michael Robertson.
