Fairfax, Virginia -- Next year's National Environmental, Health and Safety (NEHS) Conference will tackle a complicated issue that has the specialty imaging community abuzz: Corporate sustainability. http://www.nehsconference.org/NEHS_Site_07/neh_Intro.htm?CFID=2703218&CFTOKEN=79051529

The SGIA co-sponsored conference, which will be held at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel in Indianapolis (March 10-12, 2008), is geared to safety, health and environment decision makers in the graphic communications industries.

In addition to roundtable discussions and sessions that will alert industry professionals of the latest health and safety information, the NEHS Conference will offer case studies and ideas for specialty imagers looking to set up sustainable business practices.

Corporate sustainability topics include:

* Alternative products and uses when dealing with inks and solvents

* Carbon footprinting and GHG emission calculations

* Printing certification programs, recyclability and biodegradability.

"With so much demand from the specialty imagers' customer base, corporate sustainability continues to dominate industry conversations," said Marci Kinter, SGIA's Vice President for Government & Business Information. "This conference responds to those needs with applicable ideas and information sharing."

For the first time ever, the conference also will feature SGIA's Hazardous Materials Transportation Training seminar. The two-day seminar, held before and after the conference, will help specialty imagers comply with training requirements for handling, distributing and shipping hazardous materials.

Save the date for the NEHS Conference. Visit www.nehsconference.org often as more details are posted.
