Fairfax, Virginia -- SGIA’s Golden Image/André Schellenberg Awards celebrates industry-leading excellence, and features more than 40 categories covering almost every item — no matter how complex — created by a specialty imaging process. Winners gain international acclaim, and every entrant is considered for “Best in Show” (screen printing or digital imaging) and “Best in Creativity” (digital imaging).
Specialty imagers are encouraged to enter online their favorite piece of work in the contest. The deadline is September 15 for the submission forms and October 10 for samples to arrive at the SGIA depository.
“To maximize your entries, take some time to pick the best ones that your company is especially proud of,” says Johnny Shell, SGIA’s Vice President of Technical Services. “Remember, you’re competing against hundreds of entries from around the world.”
SGIA printer members receive one free entry for the competition and additional entries are $20 each. Participants can enter work produced since September 2007.
Submissions will be judged by a panel of specialty imaging industry leaders and displayed at SGIA ’08 in the lobby of the Georgia World Congress Center.
For more information about the contest, contact Johnny Shell at 703.359.1319 or jshell@sgia.org.
