Fairfax, Virginia - The 2009 SGIA Expo (New Orleans, October 7-9) showcased the broadest range of innovative technologies and applications in the specialty imaging marketplace. Read all about the Expo in our online recap.
2009 SGIA Expo Highlights:
More than 14,000 specialty imagers made their way to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans to preview hundreds of exhibitors' latest products. Industry experts demonstrated the newest advancements in high-production digital and screen print devices as well as direct-to-garment, special effects and post-print finishing tools.
"The specialty imaging community is using emerging technology to open up new markets and bring new value to existing customers," said Michael Robertson, SGIA's President and CEO. "Expo attendees had the opportunity to experience all of the advancing technologies, creative applications and total solutions that are driving our industry."
Attendees also discovered new business strategies and connected with industry peers in 50-plus educational sessions, Expert Advice Zones and industry networking events.
