|  SPTF offers a user-friendly computer program for calculating ink consumption. The ink calculator is set up such that the printer enters such information as the mesh that is being used, the size of the image, the percentage of area that the image covers, and the number of prints. . .and the calculator computes the quantity of ink needed for the job with a click of a button. The program allows users to get the estimate in either volume or weight (with the appropriate information) and will print out a report of the estimate on command. The program also has an option to add the effect stencil thickness has on ink deposit when printing fine detail.
SPTF’s Ink Calculator software is unique because it uses an ink estimation formula based and proven on quality research, setting it apart from other ink calculating programs. The software program is available free of charge to all SPTF Investors and SGIA members.

The program is designed to work with a PC, 486 or higher, and Windows 3.1 or higher, and requires 3.3 MB of hard drive memory.
Installation instructions
- Download the zipped file to your hard drive.
- Unzip the file to a folder you create on your hard drive.
- Once they are all copied there, run the setup file. This will install it on your computer.
- There are instructions within the program itself for using it. Please read them completely before proceeding.
