SGIA's new digital lab’s hands-on workshops and investigative analyses are just what you need to work more efficiently and get a handle on issues around color management, screen-printing profiling, inkjet spot-color matching, halftone screening, ink limits

and raster image processors.

As part of the lab’s mission to educate members on the industry’s best practices, three workshops have been developed:

Intro to Digital Printing

Color Management for Specialty Imaging

Direct to Garment Digital

The Digital Imaging Lab, which includes the majority of technologies and processes used by the specialty imaging industry, has capabilities such as:

  • Direct-to-garment digital printing on light and dark garments
  • Long-term/short-term indoor and outdoor graphics printing
  • Color management theory, practice and profiling for media, input devices and monitors
  • Digital proofing and film positives for screen printing
