Learn Online with SGIA Video Training

SGIA is bringing the in-depth information presented in some of our popular hands-on workshops to online virtual training. SGIA members can watch, pause and rewind the videos at anytime — all from the comfort of their own desktop.

Each training module includes a series of videos on a specific task (e.g. Stretching a Static Frame) or topic (e.g. Color Management). After viewing each module, take the quiz to see how well you retained the information. A score of 90% or better earns you a Certificate of Completion that includes your name, quize module, date of completion, and your quiz score!

Current modules include:
Digital		Screen
	Color Management This series of videos covers common concepts and goals of a color-managed workflow and is geared for the inkjet printing industry. While many color management concepts are the same for many aspects of imaging (offset, flexo, wide-format), certain areas of the process are specific to inkjet output and are the focus of this video series.		Mesh, Frames, and Tensioning Systems This series of videos introduces you to the types of screen mesh and the types of popular frames and tensioning systems currently used in the screen printing industry. You'll also learn about the importance of mesh tension, how to determine the proper tension level for a given mesh, and tips in understanding tension loss.
			Stretching a Static Frame This series offers step-by-step instruction for stretching a static screen frame using the popular tensioning methods in the industry (Rapid, Staged, Pulsed).
			Stretching a Retensionable Roller Frame This series offers step-by-step instruction for stretching a retensionable roller frame including preparing the frame and properly inserting the mesh before stretching.
