The unique, interactive SGIA Digital Lab, which is primarily a teaching facility for industry best practices, is host to courses about color management, device profiling, inkjet spot-color matching, mounting, laminating and finishing, halftone screening, ink limits and raster image processors. Participants will be able to learn about:
- Direct-to-garment digital printing on light and dark garments
- Long-term/short-term indoor and outdoor graphics printing
- Color management theory, practice and profiling for media, input devices and monitors
- Digital proofing and film positives for screen printing
- Preparation of vehicles for graphics and vehicle wrap application and removal
- Profiting from post print finishing techniques such as surface lamination and encapsulation
