Meet the Digital Textile & Décor Committee
As a managing partner in CBi Print Jason has been with the company for 22 years. Jason is 38 years old and brings a new look and excitement to the printing industry. During his time at CBi Print he has been part of every aspect of the company, which has given him extensive experience in all aspects of the printing industry. For the last 10 years he has been a major part of the growth and expansion of CBi Print.
CBi Print started as a copy shop and now offers screen printing, embroidery, large format printing, offset, laser engraving, and specialty printing. Jason realizes the importance of diversity in the print shops of today.
Kerry came to Spoonflower in 2013 and is responsible for project management in areas that include development of strategies for ensuring product quality, technical development of new products and investigation and implementation of new manufacturing technologies. Kerry also works closely with Spoonflower’s product development and factory teams. Prior to Spoonflower, she spent over fifteen years with [TC]2, a not-for-profit company that specialized in technology development and supply chain improvement within the soft goods industry. In addition to her role at Spoonflower, she’s an active volunteer in the textile and digital print area and is the current President of AATCC, the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists.
Mallory has been with GSG for over 7 years and has grown up working in the industry. She has her Masters in Supply Chain Management from Texas A&M College of Engineering. Mallory has extensive knowledge in heat transfer applications, small format digital printing, dye sublimation, adhesive vinyl, DTG and screen printing.
She works closely with vinyl decorators and resellers as the Vinyl Decorating Segment Manager at GSG. GSG is a family owned distributor serving the sign, digital, screen printing, embroidery and textile decorating industry.
Rick Mandel is the fourth generation President & Owner of the Mandel Company, a 125+ year old graphics firm. He specializes in large format digital printing for the POP, architectural, and event industries. Rick has been a contributing speaker and author for SGIA, as well as a member of SGIA's Academy of Screen and Digital Technologies and Digital Textile Committee. Rick has been a member of SGIA for over 30 years, a member of Rotary Club of Milwaukee, contributor to the SPTF fund. He holds a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin and is the father of three adult daughters.
Tommy Martin is currently an Applications Engineer and Technology Trainer at HP, Inc. Tommy has been a part of the textile industry for over 30 years and proudly served as a Chemical Specialist in the U.S. Army. He attended the University of North Alabama with studies in Marketing and Management. He has worked with and managed companies in apparel manufacturing, operations, sales, and marketing. Currently, Tommy resides in Gainesville, GA.
