Digital and PAD Printing Supervisor

Well established, dynamic, International Manufacturing Corporation and primary suppliers of plastic products to the highway and road construction industry in southeast Iowa, is looking for an experienced, hands on Digital Printing Supervisor to join our team as we develop our product customization offering.

Ideal candidate must be experienced in digital art manipulation and must be willing to have hands on approach and knowledge to set-up and operate a 3-Color PAD Printer, a flatbed digital printer and roll to roll digital printer. Candidate should have clear understanding of color management, a high level of familiarity with adobe illustrator, Flexi-Sign or similar image software.

If you would like to contribute to our existing team of professionals who design, manufacture, and support products which save lives on the world's highways, candidate MUST:

Be safety conscious and maintain a safe working environment.
Have a clear understanding of graphics with the ability to manipulate and optimize imagery. Experience in screen printing a plus.
Be hands on and able to prepare the image for printing, create PAD printing plates if necessary, print the image and QC its quality.
Be able to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the digital printing equipment.
Possess a clear understanding of good maintenance and calibration practices as it relates to our printing equipment.
To help design and/or build holding fixtures for PAD printing and multiple image digital printing.
Be able to work as part of a team both internal to the plant and external to the corporation and customers, as well as, have supervisory experience.

Working Conditions
This position is in a warehouse environment with variable indoor/outdoor climate conditions. Candidate must wear required safety equipment including but not limited to: safety glasses, steel toe boots, hearing protection etc. if necessary. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud

Physical Requirements
Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses. Significant walking or other means of mobility. Ability to work shifts from a sitting, standing or prone positions for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move 25 pounds
