PDAA is the only vinyl agnostic testing in the industry. SGIA's "Find an Installer" is the place to go to find a qualified installer, and this testing for Architecture Level 1 will allow the installer company to display this badge proudly.

Workshop and testing begins at 8:30 am each day.

Register to gain PDAA Certified Architecture Level 1 status for your company. Through PDAA certification, your company holds verified proof that it has their installer has the skill set, the knowledge of industry terms and the proficienty with all the tools necessary to install any type of standard architectural film in a typical industry setting (retail stores, trade shows, banks, offices, etc.). This certification event will be using various manufacturer vinyl for the test. Your company must be a corporate member of SGIA and have a PDAA Certified Installer on staff to be listed on the Find an Installer site.

Architecture Level 1 Testing only will be on July 23.

July 22 and 23 will include training on choosing vinyl, brushing up on good cleaning and install techniques, along with proper heat procedure to ensure you are prepared for testing. The training and testing stations will include Acrylic station, knife control station, flat wall mural station, round column station, floor graphic station, and wet application window graphic station.

Ken Burns from Axis Installations and Pete Kouchis from VisuCom Graphics will cover techniques for successfully passing the certification test and training for those that will attend only for the training.

    The Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has issued federal guidance on March 19, 2020 categorizing a variety of manufacturers as among “essential” infrastructure. This guidance was updated on March 23, 2020 with an important addition to the “critical manufacturing” section. Read here for more information.
