PDAA is the only vinyl agnostic testing in the industry. The PRINTING United Alliance "Find an Installer" directory is the place to go to find a qualified installer, and this testing for Architectural Films will allow the installer company to display this badge proudly.

Testing begins at 8:30 am each day.

Register to gain PDAA Certified Architectural Films status for your company. Through PDAA certification, your company holds verified proof that their installer has the skill set, the knowledge of industry terms and the proficiency with all the tools necessary to install any type of standard architectural film in a typical industry setting (retail stores, trade shows, banks, offices, etc.). This certification event will be using various manufacturer vinyl for the test. Your company must be a corporate member of PRINTING United Alliance and have a PDAA Certified Installer on staff to be listed on the Find an Installer site.

The testing event will begin with an overview on choosing vinyl, brushing up on good cleaning and install techniques, along with proper heat procedure to ensure you are prepared for testing. The testing stations will include Acrylic station, knife control station, flat wall mural station, round column station, floor graphic station, and wet application window graphic station.

Ken Burns from Axis Installations and Pete Kouchis from VisuCom Graphics will cover techniques for successfully passing the certification test and will also be the administrators of and judges for testing.

For full information on the test and its requirements, please visit PDAA's Certification page to learn more about becoming PDAA Certified.
