Sun Chemical agreed to name Icaro International — a distributor of woven metallic wire mesh and synthetic mesh for different screen printing applications, such as printed electronics — as its distributor for Sun Chemical’s conductive and dielectric inks as well as other electronic materials in Mexico.
The three-year agreement allows Sun Chemical to expand its reach to the biosensor, automotive, white goods, and electronic assembly markets across Mexico using a well-respected and widely known partner.
“We’re pleased to have Icaro International as a partner in the distribution and logistics of our conductive inks and electronic materials across Mexico,” says John Hannafin, global product manager, Sun Chemical. “This agreement will help Sun Chemical better meet the needs of our customers and extend its reach in the electronics marketplace, while bringing efficiency in delivery and local service to our customers.”
“This relationship is an excellent complement to the existing solutions from Icaro International as it expands our current product portfolio of screens and printing supplies with a global leader in electronic materials,” says Enrique García, president and CEO, Icaro International. “We’re confident that this relationship will be of high value for our customers.”
