International competition honors industry excellence across 71 different categories in printing

Fairfax, Va. — PRINTING United Alliance, the most comprehensive member-based printing and graphic arts association in the U.S., today announces the winners of its prestigious Premier PRINT Awards international printing competition. The highly coveted competition recognizes and honors excellence in print across 71 different categories. See a complete list of the “Best of Category” award winners, “Printed Product of the Year” award winners, and “Best of Show” winners at the official Premier PRINT Awards website gallery premierprint.printing.org.

“This year’s Premier PRINT Awards judges had a difficult time in narrowing the awards to 64 winners amongst all of the impressive submissions,” says Joe Marin, senior VP, education and training, PRINTING United Alliance. “Each piece was innovative and of the highest quality. We thank all of those who participated and encourage the industry to view the special awards gallery to see all of the wonderful entries.”

The Premier PRINT Awards is the most advanced awards program in the printing industry and encompasses the former SGIA Golden Image Award, Printing Impressions’ Gold Ink Award, Packaging Impressions’ Excellence Award, and Printing Industries of America’s Benny Award. These awards programs collectively laid the foundation for a single unified award that recognizes the best of the best in graphic communications.

Companies submitted works from all aspects of print production, including screen, offset, digital, wide-format, flexographic, gravure, and more. Students were also encouraged to submit entries in the Tom Frecska Student Printing Competition Category, which is awarded to any high school, adult education, vocational, or college student or student group involved in the creation or production of print communications.

Premier PRINT Award pieces will be featured in a full-color publication distributed with the PRINTING United Journal, mailed to thousands of member companies around the world. If you are not a member of PRINTING United Alliance and would like to join or learn more, visit sgia.org/join.
