The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of all possible frequencies of electromagnetic radiation. It contains all of the wavelengths of energy we are familiar with under different names, such as; Radio waves, microwave, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet radiation, X-rays, and gamma waves.
