Printing on Dark Shirts

Printing on dark shirts is a lot different than printing on light shirts. Although you can print with special high opacity inks, this requires using a lower mesh count and sacrificing detail on a print, not to mention the increased flashing of colors. The most popular method of dark shirt printing is to print an underbase of white and then use all purpose inks through high mesh counts on top of the flashed underbase. This gives the brightest colors and reduces the number of flash cures necessary. It also gives the softest print.
