SGIA Responds to OSHA's Proposed Rule Requiring Electronic Submittal of Injury and Illness Data

SGIA sees the scope of the proposal going well beyond the intent and purpose of the injury and illness standard, and does not promote any additional benefit toward safety. Rather, it will result in an unnecessary burden on businesses. SGIA also believes that OSHA did not fully consider or investigate all of the applicable scenarios or facility operations that will be impacted by the proposal as would be required.
