The city of Los Angeles has established sign regulations within in the Los Angeles Municipal Code that apply to all exterior signs and sign support structures which include off-site signs (advertising goods or services located at another location) and on-site signs (a sign advertising goods or services at the location of the sign) erected, created or maintained within the city limits.
