Appvion Adds New Paper to High-Speed Inkjet Product Portfolio

Appvion, Inc. has announced the addition of a 20 pound bond to its lineup of treated high-speed inkjet papers. Engineered and manufactured specifically for web-based inkjet printing, Appvion’s 20 pound Treated High-Speed Inkjet Paper has been qualified on key original equipment manufacturers’ (OEMs) presses including Hewlett Packard, Ricoh and Screen. This new paper is the latest addition to Appvion’s expanding portfolio of specialty papers, one that includes products in the carbonless, thermal and security segments. Appvion’s Treated High-Speed Inkjet Paper delivers a wide color gamut and yields vibrant image reproduction. Its superior sheet formation ensures even solids and sharp lines. Appvion’s 20 pound product offers a white sheet for excellent image contrast and high opacity for lower show-through. Plus, it runs smoothly and efficiently on post-processing and finishing equipment. Appvion’s Treated High-Speed Inkjet Paper is both acid free and elemental chlorine free (ECF). It is manufactured under ISO 14001:2004-certified environmental management systems. FSC® certified (FSC-C003368) product versions are available.
