Following a successful inaugural celebration last year, Chi-Town Rising, a New Year’s event featuring live outdoor music and fireworks, built a new tradition for the holiday in Chicago. The effort was supported by local businesses and organizations who are committed to bettering their hometown. Privately funded and produced by Arena Partners, Chi-Town Rising drew on the support of businesses to add another marquee event to the city’s event calendar, and further position Chicago as a year-round visitor destination.
