Monarch Color Corporation Launches New Plastisol Ink

Charlotte, North Carolina - Monarch Color Corporation, a global presence in the manufacturing of offset and flexo inks, has announced the launch of its new plastisol ink for the T-shirt screen printing market. “Monarch Color Corporation has always been known for providing innovative inks to the Offset and flexo markets that display brilliant, high opacity, ink colors and we decided to apply that knowledge and innovation to our new plastisol ink.” explained Aaron Blank, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Monarch Color Corporation. “We are always strategically looking at new markets to expand our business portfolio, and we felt that in this market we could create something special, and I believe we have done that.” This new plastisol ink will be launched with 3 versions; 100% cotton, 50/50 cotton-poly blend, and a 100% polyester, low bleed.  The plastisol ink will come in Yeti White, Bigfoot Black, and 10 base blending colors.  “Our white is the most opaque white on the market today, and we continue to add more colors to our system,” explains Aaron. T-shirt printers who have had the opportunity to use the ink agree with Aaron’s remarks.  “We were really pleased with the results we got from Monarch’s ink right out of the bucket. Our printers like that it has a nice, fluffy consistency. No more straining the forearms getting ink out of the bucket, even on cold mornings. We also noticed that it cleans up really easily, which is a big win, when it comes to saving time during ink changes. We also noticed it had a very nice soft hand and optimal opacity,” remarks David Collier, owner of Ink Floyd Design & Production, a Charlotte-based custom screen printing shop. For four decades, Monarch Color Corporation has served customers in the printing, graphic arts and visual communications industries with a comprehensive line of performance offset and flexo inks, coatings, specialty products, press consumables and ancillary products.  Monarch Color is proud to add plastisol screen printing inks to that line up.  The American-owned global ink supplier is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, and maintains a global presence with offices in Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Pennsauken, NJ, Jiangmen, China, and Kowloon, Hong Kong.
