GSP Wins Four American Graphic Design Awards

GSP won two awards for campaign work it completed for a large grocery retailer. One campaign was created to help guide customers towards healthier food choices by making them more easily identifiable through a stamp system. The other campaign emphasized freshness through a modern graphics package that consisted of a new brand font, color palette, photography approach and template for monthly advertising.   GSP also won for the booth and accompanying coffee table book it created for GlobalShop, an annual show for retailers that features trends in store design and retail marketing. The booth featured custom-designed furniture, walls, floorcovering, graphics and an elaborate canopy of light. “It was designed to showcase all of GSP’s design and visual merchandising capabilities, as well as our ability to reimage store environments,” said Design Services VP Steven Cohen. “From inspiration to installation, our team can do it all. The coffee table book documented the design thinking behind the process and detailed GSP’s capabilities within the visual merchandising space.”   For more than 50 years, the editors of Graphic Design USA magazine have celebrated outstanding creative work with the American Graphic Design Awards. They choose from thousands of entries submitted by ad agencies, in-house designers and media firms across 23 categories, including point-of-purchase, interactive, print, packaging and more.   “I’m proud of the talented design and visual merchandising team that GSP has assembled. Our goal, first and foremost, is to make retail better for our clients by helping them solve their biggest marketing challenges in store. But it’s also an incredible honor to be recognized by GDUSA as being among the best in graphic design,” added Cohen. Founded in 1978, GSP is a retail services provider located in Clearwater, Florida, with three regional production facilities (Clearwater; Provo, Utah; and Madison, Wisconsin). By using surveys and a proprietary software system, GSP helps retailers accurately measure and store site data, guaranteeing the right size sign is delivered to the right store every time with no overage. GSP offers award-winning marketing, design services, visual merchandising, food photography, best-in-class graphics and smart POP program management to more than 60,000 retail locations throughout North America. Recent growth led GSP to add AccuStore, a survey, app and site profiling software brand, and the large-format graphics lab Great Big Pictures, which specializes in fashion retail.
