Buffalo, New York — Tapecon, Inc. announces Greg Davis as the new Supply Chain Manager. As the Supply Chain Manager, Greg will absorb the Supply Chain Specialist tasks and responsibilities. Greg previously worked at Tapecon as the Production Manager and as a Process Engineer. He has previous experience buying and planning while working within medical device contract manufacturing. Tapecon Inc. Director of Operations, Michael Gebera, stated “Tapecon is ready for Greg to utilize his experience as our new Supply Chain Manager. Greg has spent time in the factory mastering our production and process, which will give him the additional support needed to operate as our Supply Chain Manager.” Greg holds a Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University in Global Supply Chain Management. California Provides Sample Workplace Violence Prevention Plan

The law, passed on September 30, 2023, amended an existing California law and now requires most California employers to implement a WVPP by July 1, 2024. All but the smallest printing companies in California are covered by the WVPP law.

EPA Denies WA State Ecology’s Request to Reduce Allowable PCB Concentrations

On April 4, 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) formally denied a request from the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) to reduce allowable inadvertent polychlorinated biphenyls (iPCBs) limits in consumer products. Ecology petitioned EPA three months ago in January of 2024 as a result of a bill passed last year requiring Ecology to petition the EPA to reexamine the federal PCB limits under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
