Color Verification: What It Is and Why You Should Be Doing It

Color verification allows you to check the color accuracy of your proofs/prints using a spectrophotometer (color measurement device) and software. Many companies still rely solely on visual evaluation of color accuracy, and though we’ll never eliminate human beings visually evaluating color, this is simply not efficient or sufficient. Printers need to establish standard operating procedures for delivering accurate color as a manufacturing process that is not subjective.
