REPORTING – Vermont Children’s Products Report due by August 31, 2020.

Manufacturers selling children’s product into the state of Vermont are required to provide annual reports on any product containing any of the 86 Chemicals of Concern to Children (CHCC). The current reporting period for products offered for sale in the State of Vermont ends on August 31, 2020.

There are exemptions to this reporting requirement. Manufacturers selling product into Vermont, including internet sales, are exempt if a Chemical Control Program has been implemented or if the company has a Certificate of Compliance issued by a competent authority. The certificate of compliance is a document that states the product or component does not contain a chemical of high concern to children, as listed by the state.
