SGIA's half-day, four-part workshop is designed to help you understand today's expanding wide-format inkjet opportunities, and gain valuable knowledge and strategies to help you make the best decisions for your business. Taught by industry experts, this beginner-to-intermediate level course's four parts are:

Technology & Markets Overview

SGIA's Dan Marx will provide an overview of wide-format inkjet technology, and provide valuable insight into the vertical markets and product areas served by wide-format print producers. This presentation also includes data about the wide-format graphics segment and strategies for gracefull adding a new (or additional) wide-format inkjet device to your facility.

Color Management Strategies

This segment, presented by Josh Hope of Mimaki USA, provides essential information for getting production color under control. Whether your absolutley new to wide-format color management, or have "been around the block" a few times, you will learn valuable strategies to streamline your color managemtn process, reduce frustration and improve quality.

Materials & Finishing

While your wide-format inkjet device is capable of making a print, it is the materials you use and the finishing technologies you utilize that allow you to transform that print into a sellable, finished product. Roland DGA's Kitt Jones will present strategies to help you use materials that fit with your device and ink system, minimize inventory and serve the widest range of product areas while investing only in essential finishing technologies.
