In the world of industrial graphics & high-performance printing applications, it relies extensively on controlling deposition uniformity —not necessarily as a visually-pleasing image but for a feature that eventually becomes the functional heartbeat of a finished product. Close-tolerance registration and meeting superlative specifications are typical concerns out of many that needs to be addressed to become successful. And that is precisely the crux of the problem—manufacturing and fabricators alike need to constantly control print performance consistently and repeatedly to the same standards throughout production regardless of where produced. To successfully meet head-on demanding and often challenging requirements, printing must be transformed from a 2-dimensional process to a 3-dimensional one—effectively depending much more on science than art. To achieve this transformation with ease, one has to revisit some of the basic fundamental principles of the screening process. This session overviews some of those key essentials to meet and exceed expectations.
