SGIA and Karstedt Partners, recently completed a research study that focuses on the decision-making and evaluation processes folding carton converters go through to make their digital investment. What value does the digital bring to the folding cartons market? Are packagers ready to invest? What was the main driver for going digital for early adopters? These are just some of the questions we explore in this study that provides some insight about how investing in software and in the finishing equipment may smooth the process of digital adoption for the folding carton converters. The folding carton report is the first one in the series of three, with flexible packaging and corrugated converters to follow.
