At the recent U.S. Xerox Business Solutions Southwest event, Color-Logic conducted an hour-long session detailing how to design for CMYK+ with Color-Logic and Touch7. The Color-Logic session followed a Xerox Iridesse presentation and demonstration, and focused on the embellishment potential of the Iridesse press when using Color-Logic with the silver dry inks offered by Xerox.

Discussing the presentation, Mark Geeves, Color-Logic director of sales and marketing, says, "With Color-Logic, graphic designers can quickly and easily produce sparkling print embellishments on the Xerox Iridesse press. The Color-Logic software permits producing as many as 55 metallic golds using only the dry silver ink offered by Xerox in conjunction with CMYK. Color-Logic Touch7 software broadens the available color gamut available with fluorescent inks, and Color-Logic also automatically produces the complex white ink masks needed when metallic substrates are used. Color-Logic enables printers to fully utilize the optional features now available on digital presses like the Xerox Iridesse."
