Neil has been employed by Autotype and now MacDermid Autotype for over 30 years and involved in the printing industries for almost 35 years. He has a bachelor's degree in chemistry from London University (Queen Mary College) and a master of business administration degree from Roosevelt University, Chicago.
Neil has experience in production, quality control and technical service functions. For the past 29 years, he has worked in the United States, primarily in the technical field of customer support, quality requirements and regulatory compliance, helping customers with their product and manufacturing difficulties, handling how-to questions and product development. In his latest position, Neil handles the company’s quality program and actively supports the technical printing needs of their customers, and the development of the products required for printed and flexible electronics applications.
Over the years, Neil has been a regular contributor to the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association's (SGIA) training program and numerous trade publications. He is currently the chairman of the SGIA's Printed Electronic and Membrane Switch committee and chairman of the Ink & Chemical Manufacturers Committee.
Neil is also co-chairman of the ASTM F01.18 Subcommittee on Printed Electronics, developing testing standards, and a committee member of IPC Printed Electronics Management Council (D60), chairman of D65 Test Methods and other IPC standards subcommittees for printed electronics.
