The PRINTING United Alliance Glossary serves as an excellent industry terminology resource. It is the language by which we all communicate. Without it, universal understanding would be impossible.

  • Acrylate
    An ester or salt coming from acrylic acid; a type of monomer used in UV ink and coating formulations that contains the chemical group CH2=CHCO2H.
  • Cyanoacrylate
    A single part frame adhesive that uses an activator spray or tape to accelerate cure similar to super glue.
  • Methacrylate resin
    A type of resin produced by the polymerization of methacrylic esters.
